B1-5: Sitka Spruce Oars

Traditional spoon blade oars of selected sitka spruce finished with the finest spar varnish. Balanced and light, these oars are sure to improve your rowing as well as complementing your skiff. Lengths: 6½', 7', 7½', 8', 8½', 9'+.

Leather Oar Collars and Stops

• B6: Oar Collars Kit

  Includes waterproof leather sleeves, bronze ring nails for fastening, and two rubber oar collars.

• B8: Rubber Oar Stops

  Designed for any oarlock to prevent oars from slipping. Perfect with our round oarlocks.

Bronze Oarlocks

• B11-12: Open: with the higher post facing forward to help keep the oar in the lock. 2" shank x ½" diameter stem.

• B13: Closed: permanently fixed to the oar. 2" x ½" diameter stem.

Bronze Oarlock Sockets

• B14-15: Angle Plate: mounted on top and side of gunwale. ½" diameter.

• B16-17: Top Mount Socket: mounted flush with top of gunwale. ½" diameter socket.

• B18: Oarlock Safety Chain: preventing loss of the oarlock. Chain attaches to eye at end of horn shank and a toggle drops through the socket.

Paddles

• B10: Beavertail Paddle: the popular "Beavertail" design for general touring and light tripping. The "Beavertail" is made of one piece hard ash or cherry with 6½" x 26" convex blade and cross-laminated hardwood tip. Finished with 5 coats of a marine spar varnish. Please specify desired length. (We are happy to offer you the option of having your paddle engraved with a logo and names).

• Kayak Paddles: We offer one styl;e of kayak paddle. Beautifully hand-crafted, this two-piece paddle is made from sitka spruce with spoon blades and a cordon fibre ferrule. Ideal for stowing in limited space and interchanging between right and left handed kayakers. The paddles are finished with several coats of marine spar varnish.
